WWII

Overview 

Our actor will take your students back in time to discover all about WWII, they will investigate why the war started and when it ended. This fun-packed workshop, will give your students an insight into rationing, evacuees, wartime jobs and air raids. We will even finish off with a good old-fashioned, wartime singalong!

• To explore the life and times of WWII

• To discover the challenges of being an evacuee

• To play an active fun game about rationing

• To improvise different wartime jobs

• To develop speaking and listening skills

• To encourage team work and creativity

• To creative frozen images and scenes relating to WWII

• To learn and perform a wartime song 

• To have lots of FUN!

Our requirements

We can deliver this workshop as a 60 min or 120 min session. We can offer a half day, 3 quarters of a day or a full day of workshops. Go to our Price List for more info.

Space

Ideally a school hall so the children can move around freely, or a large classroom with tables and chairs moved to the side.
