BIG Bubble has been delivering award-winning theatre- in-education to schools and communities across the UK since 2004.
Previously known as Pals Productions, the company changed its name to BIG Bubble, in 2019, as part of a major rebrand to better reflect the much wider range of drama-based services it is now able to offer.
These include bespoke workshops, pantomime, a performing arts academy and even corporate training through drama.
Our expertise in theatre-in-education provides schools with an animated, fun- filled approach to learning, designed to enhance curriculum subjects. Hundreds of satisfied customers continue to re-book our shows and workshops year after year.
The company has earned recommendations from a variety of borough councils and other organisations, some of which have worked with us for over 10 years. These include Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire councils, Northants Extended Services, E-on Energy and Wicksteed Park.
The company was founded by professional actors, Laura Patricia Clark and Alan Lee Parker, who remain the driving force at the helm of its continuing success story, with many years’ experience of the performing arts industry between them.
Laura is also an experienced script writer who writes and directs all the shows. She has written bespoke scripts for organisations, including energy provider E-on, which has toured schools across the country teaching youngsters about the importance of saving energy.
Meanwhile, Alan is a familiar face at schools up and down the UK in his role as presenter of the company’s highly popular workshops, some of which have been featured on local TV news programmes.
As well as performing in schools and educational establishments, BIG Bubble also tours at rural venues and festivals as well as offering open-air performances. The company won a coveted award at Buxton Festival for 'Best Performance for Young People'.
