WONDERLAND

Synopsis

Wonderland is a fun, interactive play for primary-aged audiences, inspired by Alice in Wonderland and created to celebrate the joy of books and reading.

Alice is a wayward teen who often feels lost and misunderstood, to put her on the straight and narrow, she has been made to help in a quiet old library. Bored and frustrated, Alice feels disconnected from stories and has forgotten how to be curious and playful.

When she discovers a mysterious book, Alice is suddenly pulled into its pages and trapped in the strange and magical world of Wonderland. With the help of the audience, Alice must solve problems, meet curious and comical characters, and face some challenges to find her way back home.

Through this interactive adventure, Alice begins to rediscover her imagination, her curiosity and her love of stories again. Wonderland encourages children to join in, celebrate reading and experience the magic that can be found inside a book.
