Overview 

 

The amazing lady with the lamp, will take your students back in time to the Victorian era. The war is on, the soldiers need medical attention and the hospital needs sanitizing. Through drama and movement your school will help bring Florence's incredible story to life, in this fun and informative workshop.

• To explore the life and times of Florence Nightingale

• To discover the challenges of being a nurse during then Crimeon War

• To learn about Mary Secole and the difficulties she faced

• To develop speaking and listening skills

• To encourage team work and creativity

• To recreate Florences story through teamwork. 

• To have lots of FUN!

Our requirements

We can deliver this workshop as a 60 min or 120 min session. We can offer a half day, 3 quarters of a day or a full day of workshops. Go to our Price List for more info.

Ideally a school hall so the children can move around freely, or a large classroom with tables and chairs moved to the side.
